About Me

I'm an independant musician. I've been singing since I was very young. I first started writing music on piano, then on guitar when I was 16. I've done a few shows in my hometown, Courtenay BC, and in Nanaimo BC. I finished first year Jazz Music at MAL U, and am still enrolled at my local college, plunging further and further into debt: the cost of a curious mind! I also did some back up singing for a local Pink Floyd tribute band called 'All in All It's Just...' The guys are fabulous musicians and my partner in crime Miss Kelly Gough has a roar that stops time. Check them out @ www.allinall.ca. These days, I can be found jamming it up at Courtenay BC's local coffee bars.

Please feel free to leave any constructive criticism or invite me to listen to your bands! I enjoy many forms of both music and art!!

Unyielding corpuscles

Inward, farther still, to the most disagreeable contents of the self; we ache in this dimension of time and consequence. In the antechamber of incomprehensible divergence we are waiting still. Moral: ...

In dark corners where beauty hides I'm laying down, and I've stolen all the sheets. I'm going to build myself a nest and sleep for eternity. Breath on the window, I'm tracing pictures of figures from ...

Some poem...

Still life and I'm framed again as rain crashes against the window. New light and I'm still afraid; I hear your breathing on my pillow. I am listening to the haunting echoes of a life more worthy. I t...

Color

I did it again. AND there was a T3... wonderful. The sink is full of color, not meat chunks. The drain plug is perferated. The ridges in my skin are swollen with dishwater, and my nails feel like old ...

Nettle

Sweat like whiskey as we shake shake shake. Temperaments adjust to the breeze that flirts with smoke stained curtains. I stagger to the bathroom and run the cold water. My pores tighten and my stomach...

Yeildmanager

I am where it feels like magic. The moon is half cut, making love to my liquid companion, half obscured in it's paper bag gown. The town mural is chipping. Faces flaking off under my nails. I'm comin...

Cult of the pavement

Oppressive magnitude of grey and blue, the sky is heavy today. Hearts stop to understand parted ways and lost words. Rainbow water seeps into the potholes and the worms celebrate another migration to ...
