It all started innocently... Sorta.
So Big Poppa Bear's rap career started in 2007 in the basement of his Plattsburgh apartment when his friends watched too much of the White Rapper show. Wait, is there such a thing as too much of that show? Well, nevermind that now. Anyway, his friends got together and said, "Hey, I got an idea!" They put their thoughts together and came up with "The Drunk Rapper Show," a series of rap battles between a bunch of drunk-ass white college students who thought maybe they had some game. They were all pretty much wrong.
Well, not completely. A good friend of Poppa Bear, known as Jane-O, schooled the living shit out of all of them in the first battle. Maybe it helped that she wasn't white. She was Samoan.
Jane-O soon retired from the Drunk Rapper show, mostly because it seemed like she'd just win every week. This opened up the opportunity for Big Poppa Bear to hone his skills, and he worked his way up the Drunk Rapper ladder, until he finally won a couple of battles.
The videos of these events are somewhere. I'm not completely sure where they are, but they're somewhere.
Big Poppa Bear beat Jane-O in the final installment of the drunk rapper show. I have no idea how. She must have been REALLY drunk. Either way, a win is a win. Unfortunately, there's no video evidence of this happening. *sigh.*
Now Poppa Bear has decided to make a bigger ass of himself by making actual recordings of actual "songs." We'll see how this turns out.
I'm guessing not well.
