The text was taken from William Shakespeare's character Richard in his work "King Henry VI". ____________________________________________________________ __ A Little Spill is a piece for a scrub brush and pre-recorded electronics. ____________________________________________________________ __ All works written by Justin Leo Kennedy. ____________________________________________________________ __BIOGRAPHY: Justin Leo Kennedy prefers not to write in third person, but he is going to give it a shot. In 2007 he earned his Associate’s Degree in music from Ventura College. Currently, he is in his last year of study for a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition with a Minor in Music Theory at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts.Mr. Kennedy’s music moves audiences… literally. At the premiere of his piece Geographic Suite, two or three audience members left in the middle of the performance with their ears plugged. These listeners chose to physically express their interpretation of the work just as others did when they applauded it. This really exemplified the freedom of opinion that exists in art, which is a great source of joy for Mr. Kennedy.Recent projects include a performance in Disneyland, the world premiere of a work for chamber orchestra entitled Drum Factory, and the debut of his first commissioned project, Ataraxia for piano trio. Mr. Kennedy looks forward to the possibilities that lie ahead of him in both life and music.
