She has performed with Mariachi groups for 10 years, starting with Mariachi Agua Dulce in San Diego, later with Mariachi Veritas de Harvard and Mariachi Mexamerica in Boston, Mariachi Real de México in New York City, and Mariachi Garibaldi, Mariachi Ellas and Mariachi Mujeres Divinas in San Diego.
Claudia has studied voice with some of the most amazing instructors, including Sheldon Reid- Director of the Harvard Ku'umba Singers, Heriberto Molina- former lead singer of Mariachi Vargas, Renea Flenoid- Musical Director of MADA Studios, and Galina Pashnjak- Renowned Opera Diva.
While at Harvard, Claudia's singing was praised by notable celebrities, including Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Claudia has had the fortune of being selected to participate in two major singing competitions: the Nueva Estrella contest in NYC and the Univision Festival de Mariachi.
She has appeared on local and national television in the past years, and there is another appearance coming up on TV Azteca Tijuana in a documentary about Mariachi music entitled: "Beyong Musical Passion: A True Multicultural Union."
Claudia's latest appearance was at the LA Youth Music Festival at the Placita Olvera to raise funds for Jovenes, Inc.
Claudia's favorite genre to sing is mariachi music, but she has performed jazz, gospel, and Latin dance music with different bands in San Diego County for several years.
