"High Ho Men of Sherwood!" You have stumbled into the domain of Lord and Lady Hood, otherwise known as Andy and Jillyn!
As you may have noticed, we're a little obsessed with the new musical The Legend of Robin Hood, written and composed by Gordon McCormack. We had the honor of staring in the show in the summer of 2007. Playing Robin and Marian with each other was a dream come true and the roles of a lifetime! To make it even more magical, Andy proposed after Curtain Call one nights of Robin Hood! It was amazing and Jillyn was totally blown away! (Be sure to watch the film of his propsal below.)
We are now married (May 9th 2008), and loving life. We're living in Dickinson, ND where we are running a theater company, Living Room Productions. The company is still very new and has a way to go, but hey, you can't start at the top right? We have a cute little cottage style brick house that is always filled to the brim with our friends and family! Stop by sometime, chances are you won't be alone.
Andy's favorite color is Red, Jillyn's is Copper. Our lucky number is 619. Our song is "Let me be your song" from Fraggle Rock. We love anything Jim Henson ever touched and would both donate limbs for the chance to work with the Muppets! We both have an affinity for Animal, but it's near impossible to choose a favorite muppet. We're both terrible at spelling. Jillyn is also terrible at math.
We both Graduated from a conservatory school in NYC. We're both very creative people, and spend most of our life dreaming up some scheme or other! Jillyn is also pretty crafty. She knits, sews, and does bead work - and occasionally will attempt to teach Andy. So far, he's not been overly impressed with the process.
We both love to laugh and spend time with people who get our quirky sense of humor! Andy has the quickest wit of anyone and can keep a room in stitches. His Stand Up Comedy routines were a huge hit at Caroline's in NYC, but he does Stand Up only as a hobby.
Neither of us is particularly good with this whole "live journal" craze, so our page is likely to be simple. But hey - it's the content that counts right?
Well, that should give you some idea of who we are. Comments are always welcome!
