About Me

laid back, victim of planned spontaneity, little odd/crazy (but hey aren't we all...it is the sane ones that worry me), quiet and silently analyzing; lover of music and good friends. To quote popeye, "I yam what I yam."

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

My Interests

.. width="425" height="350" .... width="425" height="350" ..

I'd like to meet:

the man behind the curtain

Music:

Be talented (even marginally), have something to say and odds are I will listen. The beauty of music is that it is such a profoundly personal thing that allows you to be individually related to what you hear and why you enjoy it. Something that you can grab hold of and take a little piece as your own. There is no way I could list everything I enjoy but it is everything from folk, bluegrass, rock, and most points in between. Widespread Panic, John Prine, Todd Snider, Coldplay, My Morning Jacket, Jerry Garcia Band, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, The Postal Service, Rusted Root, Moe. Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads....too many to name which would result in carpal tunnel.

Movies:

Princess Bride, Hoosiers, PCU, Old School, Van Wilder, similar to music there are just too many movies to name and not enough attention span

Television:

The Daily Show; College Sports; Smallville; Lost; and sometimes the surreal life....that and various other oddities that may catch my eye when the remote is out of reach.

Books:

Any of the Prey novels by John Sandford; Ismael, Story of B, My Ishmael by Daniel Quinn; and of course Comic Books, other than that pretty much anything I can get my hands on

Heroes:

my mother, she is one of the most beautiful, strong, passionate, compassionate people I know; my brother; those that do the greatest for the weakest with no thought of recognition; and of course Green Lantern.

When you deliver pizza at 3 in the morning should you really be suprised?

Interesting Historical Story aout Mayonnaise

Lament of the broken toenail and the long weekend hangover.

Why is it that even in the midst of doing something incredibly foolish we ignore the moment of clarity which indicates that things are not going to work out as planned? I will spare you the details of...
