We are The Illusory (ill-OOS-er-ee). A new band formed in the midst of a seemingly stagnant current state of music, looking for something different. We decided not to look to all the countless look-alikes and sound-alikes for inspiration, but to what we feel must be said and heard. Call us what you want, but this music isn't required to fit certain boundaries layed out for us. It seems cliché, but basically we try to be ourselves and not anyone else. Coming from different backgrounds, each member has something unique to contribute, with the common goal of moving the music forward to its highest potential. We appreciate such a wide variety of music, so our music can be very diverse and we love experimenting with many "styles" but still try to maintain our unique sound. After a little over a month of being together we released our first EP (5 songs), and we expect to release our full album this summer, so stay tuned!
