Here is some material that is not published anywhere else. The pic of
me swimming was cut from an unused promotional photo by Juuso Westerlund, the paintings are all mine.Sweeper was one of the first songs I wrote for our rock band Trouble
Hounds. It became a hit among the local boozers in Pihlajamäki, Helsinki,
when somebody put the demo-cd in the jukebox! The line-up of the band,
then, was Mikko Neimo (drums), Samuli Penttinen (vocals), Ode Summanen
(guitar) and me (bass).Eagle and Hawk was among the songs we wrote with Johanna Freundlich when we worked together in Helsingin Kellariteatteri, a well-known amateur theater in Finland. She wrote the lyrics and sang the lead. This is a demo version wich was given to the actor(s) who dis the song in the play Sano näetkö sataa.Käpytikka (woodpecker) was written with activist/poet Lotta Laaksonen just for fun. I play all the instruments and sing on this one.Every now and then people still ask me about much older songs, usually those ones with Finnish lyrics. There are lots of good songs and I might re-record
them some day (the old tapes are technically so terrible that they are not
worth of releasing). It would be a nice little pop/rock record in the
memory of a very innocent and good-willing young boy I once was.
