I'd like to meet:
..his question always throws me, because I sort of think we meet people at times and in places when we need to, or are supposed to meet them. However, if given the choice, I guess I would probably like to meet pretty much everyday people. I would love to have been able to know my great-grandparents, their parents, and as far back as possible. I have a feeling I would feel pretty humbled by them and by the experiences they had while living.

Music:
I have a pretty eclectic taste when it comes to music. I like a little of everything, depending upon my mood. My favorite song of any kind...ever...is "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. It is a little idealistic, but...wouldn't it be nice? The CD in my car right now has mainly Disturbed, Hinder and Staind on it, but the one just before it was Michael Buble. See? You just never know with me.
Movies:
I don't know that I have a favorite movie. If some idiot hadn't told me the ending, I think "The Sixth Sense" might have ended up near the top. My favorite "chick flick" is, of course, "The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood." That one's only good if you're watching it in your pj's with a bunch of your girlfriends, though. Also making the cut are "A Beautiful Mind" and "Shawshank Redemption." Now, having seen how old my favorite movies are...don't you think its time I actually GO to a movie again? ME TOO! I'll get right on that!
Television:

I really watch very little television, but the one show I never miss is Ghost Hunters on SciFi. If I happen to catch it, I like Ghost Whisperer. Seeing a trend?
Books:
"I'll Love you Forever" Ok, what did you expect from a second grade teacher? Hey, I've been reading that book for eleven years now, and it STILL makes me cry at the end. Growing up, I LOVED the Narnia books. I've read the entire series many, many times. I haven't seen the movie yet. I think I'm just so afraid I'll be disappointed. Now that I'm grown up? Throw me a trashy novel and a glass of wine in my bubble bath any time, and I'm happy! Beyond that, you'll probably find my nose buried in books relating to education or the paranormal. Right now, I'm reading "The Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield. Great read, so far!
Heroes:
Our military, our fire fighters, our police officers...and my dad. I'm adding to this now to include the doctors and nurses who are treating my father in the intensive care unit of OU Medical Center. I'm quite convinced they are earthbound angels. I'm eternally grateful for the love and compassion in which they provide their care.
