My name is Raine Sumner. I am a Canadian songwriter who is part of the songwriting team called 'SEVEN'.
The purpose of this page is to shop original R&B and Pop songs to R&B and Pop recording artists that are looking for new songs to record. The SEVEN songwriting team is comprised of myself, and Norwegian songwriters Jarle Mogard, and Karsten Skarphol.

Each of the songwriters has many years of experience writing songs in various genres and performing live in various bands. Jarle Mogard is an experienced recording engineer, accomplished musician and producer (his work in these roles is evident on all of these tracks). As a singer/songwriter, I have toured extensively in Canada and play bass guitar, keyboards and acoustic guitar. I have written and recorded songs in the following genres: pop, country, R&B, dance/electronic, and christian. My material has received great reviews in various magazines, including Billboard Magazine. Karsten Skarphol, has been writing songs with Jarle Mogard for many years and performing live as a keyboard player in various bands in Norway.
