I am a Southern California-based artist and the founder of Essentrism. I express my artistic vision through contemporary figurative paintings created in mixed media on canvas.
As Essentrist I transcend the superficial surface of things to explore individual substance and collective essence that's invisible to the naked eye and immune to intrusions of technology; the very essence that can not be weighted or measured.
My goal as an artist is to communicate and connect with
people. Essentrism makes it easy: you don't need to be an art expert or a snob to appreciate my work. My paintings prove that a work of art doesn't have to be repulsive to be meaningful.
