Abstract Myspace Layouts in cool myspace layouts Together since 1992 Minds eye have been recording and gigging in Ireland for many years. Formed by founding members Vinnie White and Cathal Fitzgerald, the bands early direction was death metal. After a succesfull touring and Demo released the band hired John Mc Rory as the Lead guitar player in 1993. The band then started to go in a more rock style from then. The band cites Metallica, Kyuss, Anthrax, Black Sabbath and Mind Funk as some of their primary influences. With the aquisition of Dave Ryan on Guitar in 2003 the bands line up was complete. The band then embarked on a major few years of recording and gigging infrequently. Starting with "Time" the band then recorded "The road endured" "See all say nothing" "2 sides to every storey" "And then theres the truth" all between the years 2004 to 2007. Due to bigger adventures to come the band moved to Australia in 2007 and are currently just wrapping up work on their forthcoming CD "Endeavour to persevere". With a new CD and upcoming tour, Minds eye are looking to the future through catchy heavy riffs coupled with pounding drums and bass, and a vocal style that effortlessly mixes "gruff and clean" the bands future is bright. Always remember there are 2 sides to every storey so please endeavour to persevere.
