His love for music is what lead him into the entertainment industry. His father was a musician who played in a band with J Giles in high school. His father had him recording at the young age of four. He grew up entertaining with music as a major part of his life. He was a natural in front of a crowd. His first movie was the The Next Karate Kid Starring Hillary Swank as a background actor. He originally got into movies & television as a venue to place his music. As he attended more auditions to network his music, casting directors would suggest he audition for roles. He did and he kept getting them, the rest is history. He was hand picked by Ben Affleck for the role of Tommy Meade in Gone Baby Gone. Ben told him to keep on acting because he could make a living at it. With an endorsement like that he has continued to prosper as an actor. He now has credits in film, television, commercials, voice overs & theater. He continues to succeed in the industry and has completed over 20 film & tv credits in the last 18 months. He has released two albums, produced several others. He was nominated for a BMA for the song Reflections with Bawston Strangla & continues to score music for film & tv and has placed music for ESPN, Fox, FSN & others.Skinz runs it down the line top to bottom. Boston Music Producer & Hip Hop Artist , Dickie Skinz lands the role of Tommy Meade in Ben Affleck's new film Gone Baby Gone which has finished shooting. Ben Affleck made his directing debut on his adaptation of the novel Gone, Baby, Gone, by "Mystic River" author Dennis Lehane. The project is about a pair of private detectives in a working-class Boston neighborhood who are hired to search for a kidnapped 4-year-old girl in Boston's underworld and features Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman, Casey Affleck, Michelle Monaghan
