SQUASH

"Squash" is a colaberation between song writer, lyracist and singer Squash and Robbie Long. Robbie brought the music to the melodies, and is a multi - instrumentalist. He also did the arrangment of each song. Here are three songs from their up and coming album "DREAM".Squash has only ventured into singing and song writing over the last 5 years through a series of events. He has always had a fascination with material that has had great lyrics. He has a diverse taste in music from the beatles, Supertramp, Simon and Garfunkel, Madonna through to Missy Higgins and Cold Play.He holds a strong belief that each song tells a story and the lyrics of a song needs to paint an image in the mind of the listener.Guitarist Robbie Long has worked in both Australia and New Zealand in many bands over the last 20yrs. He regularly plays in the bluegrass band 'The Lawnmowers' which is his main band. He has featured on ABC TV and Radio as a guitarist as well as performing on stage with other legendary pickers such as Bruce Mathiske and Phil Emmanual.
