I'm Riley Hastings. a few years ago when i was younger and dumber i fronted Attire Optional alongside nick o sallee and kevin johnson, an exceptionally intoxicated local punk band. we spent about a year of and a half of our three year life-span rocking the underground(and i mean underground) scene of the hemp rock cafe. i met many great people at these shows and we had many great times. after attire optional imploded, we began a new band with the same members. BREWHOUSE was an epic party metal band, that was also headed for untimely demise. Brewhouse played there last show at morgan davis's backyard smash, and shortly after beginning our set a full-scale riot ensued.it my downtime i have been working very hard on writing music on a more mature intelligent level, while maintaining an original fresh sound. these recordings are a low-fi example of what is to come in the future.
Nick Sals and myself are starting a new band Ill Cigarillo with Chrispy Mcnuggets on the drums, you can look forward to hearing us very soon. we're playing mostly reggae tunes with a raw edge and some hip-hop influences as well.
