A banda PREY OF CHAOS formou-se no mês de março de 2008, após o término da banda catanduvense TERROR SCUM, formada por: Natan na bateria, Fabio (Japa) no baixo e Kleber na guitarra e vocal.
PREY OF CHAOS é uma banda Araraquarense/ Catanduvense/ Nova Europense, formada por X (baterista), Fabio (guitarrista e vocal), Danilo (baixista e backing vocal), integrantes que já tocaram ou ainda tocam em algumas bandas como UNREST, TERROR SCUM, (Fabio (Japa); PESADELO BRASILEIRO e MENDIANTES IMMUNDES, entre outras (Danilo (Jarrão)) ; ROXIÚROS, e atual: HORRÍSONO, MENDIANTES IMMUNDES (X). A formação realmente gosta e acredita no que faz, empenha-se em fazer um som cada vez mais rápido, agressivo, pesado e aterrorizante, através de uma bateria veloz e presente, assim como riffs com muita distorção e afinação baixa nas cordas, além dos vocais guturais que vão ao extremo.
Tal reprodução sonora enquadra a banda ao gênero musical GRINDCORE, com algumas levadas de THRASHCORE e HARDCORE.
A banda trata e se inspira em escrever letras voltadas para religião, guerra, morte, miséria, capitalismo e suas conseqüências.
Suas principais influências são as bandas: TERRORIZER, DISRUPT, NAPALM DEATH, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, BRUTAL TRUTH, entre outras.
