I'm a well-seasoned academic, published wordsmith, man of the world & lover of rare wines and women...Some people might consider themselves a diamond in the rough, but I like to think of myself as the rough spot on a diamond.Though it's true that I'm something of a local celebrity--having been a minor yet crucial figure in the Berkeley Beatitude Movement of the 70s--I don't consider myself the cock of the walk.
