Founded in 2003, Double P has gradually been arising amongst the ranks in the hip hop community. After many recorded tracks and mixtapes, GAMO and Thri11a recently have concluded the recording and production of the most current available lp titled "Phenomenon". After much anticipation, the cd has lived up to the hype by having a song for everyone. Originally consisting of 13 tracks, "Phenomenon" is expected to be very successful. With music produced by GAMO, he was able to incorporate samples from a few arabic songs but still keeping a hip hop vibe. In May, Thri11a recently recorded the hit single of "Phenomenon" at the Chicago Recording Company. The single, titled "Sweat for me", has been played at several popular night clubs in downtown Chicago and is expected to be the premier summer jam of 2008.
