I South Of Pain nascono come progetto parallelo agli Alcholic Depression dal chitarrista - cantante Davide (Ex Nafta - Alcholic Depression) e dal batterista Paolo (Ex Alcholic Depression). Alla band in seguito si uniscono il chitarrista Federico (Che aveva già fatto qualche prova con gli Alcholic Depression) e la bassista Marta (Murderabbit). Vari problemi portano a cacciare via dal gruppo il batterista Paolo, dopo svariati cambi arriva alla batteria Francesco (Ex Above On Over - From The Ashes). Dopo qualche concerto, a causa di vari problemi si decide di mandar via dal gruppo la bassista Marta e di rimaner quindi in tre. I South Of Pain hanno registrato un demo "Better Than Heaven" contenente 4 pezzi (Away From Home, Better Than Heaven, No Fun e Six Days) + ghost track (My Alchol) + intro. Il sound della band è influenzato dal Grunge e dal Metal in generale.

South Of Pain was born as Alcholic Depression's side-project. The idea of this band came from the vocalist - guitarist Davide (Ex Nafta - Alcholic Depression) and from the drummer Paolo (Ex Alcholic Depression). Later entered in the band the guitarist Federico (That played with Alcholic Depression at the first time) and the bass player Marta (Murderabbit). Various problems leading the band to kick out the drummer Paolo, that was replaced by Francesco (Ex Above On Over - From The Ashes) after many drummers changes. After some lives the band kicked out Marta for various problems and they remained in three. South Of Pain recorded the demo "Better Than Heaven" that included 4 tracks (Away From Home, Better Than Heaven, No Fun and Six Days) + ghost track (My Alchol) + intro. The band is influenced by Grunge and Metal sound.
