Thanks to the Spice & Music Festival and the City of Opelousas for this great opportunity to represent for the Culture here in Louisiana as well as the Spicy Food and Hot Music. There is no place hotter than the Opelousas Spice and Music Festival.I also want to say Congrats to the MISS QUEEN Mariah!!!!!! Way to GO!!!!!As Ms. Queen I will always have your back and together we will bring this festival and the culture here in Louisiana to the masses.SELF CONFIDENCE is often thought of as being Conceded-- there is a huge difference. Having HIGH GOALS for yourself is often thought of as being Conceded--- another huge difference. I think that if you live for yourself and not for others you will be just fine. Those who may dislike you can only be used for motivation. Those who find fault in you can only be used to bring out the best in you!!! I feel when GOD is on your side nothing can block your dreams. Thanks to all the people who love me and respect me for who I am. Thanks for believing in me 100% and not giving up on me when at times I gave up on myself. Everyone needs a shoulder to lean on when your self confidence gets broken every now and then. I thank everyone who helped me and are still helping me and push me to the limit. I have grown a lot in that last fre years and I thank Pastor Lloyd Joyner, My MOM and DAD, My grandmother ( Nola Living Sinegal-R.I.P.) for helping me along with my mission and my walk in faith. Im far from perfect in the eyes of the LORD, but I am a work in progress…… God is bringing me thru so much and I love HIM to the fullest because he died for me.I am affectionately known as “Sweetpea” or “Pea” by family and a host of friends. I was given this nickname as an infant because I always had a squeaky voice and my family thought I sounded like the baby in the Popeye cartoon named Swee’ Pea. My family added on the “T” to Swee’ pea and I was then called “SWEETPEA”.I was born in Lafayette, LA and raised in both Lafayette and Scott, LA.
