Danielle Le Cuirot is an aspiring singer-songwriter born in Jersey, Channel Islands. A keen musician from an early age, Danielle learnt to play the violin but put that aside to focus on her singing at the age of 13. It was during sixth form that she started teaching herself the piano so she could put her lyrics and melodies to music. After being successful in her application to take a degree in Popular Music Studies at Leeds College of Music, Danielle moved to Leeds in September 2006.
Since then she has been involved in various local performances in bands and with the college gospel choir. Danielle spent her second year at college recording with her band 'The Grace'. Their album, 'Us Without You', was recorded and produced by third year production student Alberto Miguel. The rest of the band is made up of Joel Da Costa (vocals and guitar), Chris Karamian (bass), Adam Colwell (Drums), and Ollie Green (keys). Written by Danielle and arranged with the band, 'Find My Way' is taken from their album. The Grace's debut performance, starring Daniel Green on piano, was at The Wardrobe, Leeds on Monday 9th June. Ollie Green joined them on piano in December 2008 and they have since performed in several venues around Leeds and headlined at a large festival in Portugal.
