My name is Ashley. I am 27 years old, which sounds kind of scary now that I say it out loud. I am married to the love of my life, Seth and have one beautiful baby boy Easton. Seth and I are in a band called Mudd River Union with some really great friends. We started off playing music at our church Leigh's Chapel and decided to start playing out more. We play a variety of music from blues to rock to country. We have awesome four part harmonies and we all just really enjoy playing music. Stay tuned for a Mudd River Union myspace page. We are working on that as we speak. Until then, I am keeping my own page for our original music that we write. I have been singing since I was 2 years old. I have sang in lots of different venues from churches to honkey tonks and probably anywhere in between. My husband and I are the song leaders at our church and really enjoy worshipping the Lord in this way. I have like many other artists tried to "make it big" whatever that means, but have realized that I am happy with my life and who I am and music no matter how big or small will always be a part of me, even though I always hold on to the dream of singing for thousands. Singing to my little boy at night is the most rewarding thing I could ever do. My sister and I started writing songs about 6 years ago. I wrote a couple in my teenage years that weren't that great, but feel that I am getting better with every song we write. My husband is also involved in the process. He plays the guitar and usually he comes up with a melody and then I take it from there. My entire family has always been so supportive of my singing and they will never know how greatful I am to them."In My Dreams" is a song that we wrote for my sister's husband, Dave who is currently deployed in Afghanistan. Also, my other Sister's boyfriend, Chris just got back from a deployment in Iraq so this song is also for them. We are so appreciative of our troops who fight for our freedom every day wether here at home or on foreign soil. We also realize there is a huge sacrifice on behalf of the spouse's and families of the troops. We wanted to write a song that showed both sides of the story, how it feels to have to leave and how it feels to have to let someone go. Thank you to all the troops and their families!..Our songs are currently available for purchase on itunes. They will also be available on Rhapsody.com, and napster shortly.
