I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Welcome to My World!!! If you are here because I invited you to read my blogs. Thank you for reading. Keep it up. Perhaps we will build enough of a rapport to become friends. That means don't rush to send me a friend request. If you are on my friends list, I knew you once, I feel like I am getting to know you or I know you now (we've spoken on the phone more than three times or we've hung out together recently). Now about me:I am a writer who pays the bills by getting my legal hustle on. I am a traveler who likes the excitement of a new place. I plan on making Atlanta my home for 3 more years(MAX!!!). Where ever I live though I always bring L.A. with me.I'm an outgoing always getting the party started type of guy. I love people. I love my friends. I love making new friends. I love the meeting and sharing. I love the getting to know one another and the intimacy that follows.

My Interests

I like to read also hit all the bars, go shopping, meeting new faces and entertaining at home. I have a wide range of interests I just enjoy life.Right now I am a paper chaser. Its always all about the money. I don't waste money on trying to pretend I am something I am not. I won't floss until I am done stacking and that is unlikely. I want it all and I won't stop til I have it.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who can handle the fact that I have been relationship cursed for the next 666 years. (Damn me for opening that chain letter!) Anyone talking about being wealthy. I make money for people and I'd like the same type of people around me so we can all get dough. Right now I'm just working so there will be no hollering at any woman. But when I do, I would like to meet women I can take to a fancy dinner and a movie Friday, Hooters and a swingers club Saturday and church and family dinner on Sunday (I may or may not actually do all, some or none of these things).I like women who know themselves and act with confidence and love. Also, women need to understand that I can't give anyone exclusive attention. So just come chill. Relax. I have lots of friends and I love them all equally. Just try it! It'll be fun. Trust me.God, any blood relatives I have never met, Russel Simmons, Assata Shakur, Fidel Castro, Donald Trump.

Music:

The current selection is all about L.A.(That's me!) music. I truly keep it craccin on all fronts. My collection goes from Stevie Wonder to Kanye West to Debarge and Switch to Random classics of Rock, Jazz, Country, Pop, or whatever. I love music so I can listen to any types of music. I prefer hip-hop, underground rap, r&b. Lately its been 80s Soul (Howard Hewitt, DeBarge and Maze).

Movies:

I watch any movie but my favorites are The Princess Bride, The Basketball Diaries, all of Al Pacino's work, Office Space, Four Rooms. There are plenty more but lets just say I like the less trendy films but not the independent scene because thats become trendy. I hate that evey movie today is PG-13 so if a new movie comes out and is rated R, I will definitely watch it.

Television:

Life is too exciting to sit in the house and watch tv. If I am home I watch movies on Cable or DVD. The best sitcoms ever Seinfeld and Friends are off the air. The Real World is getting lamer every year and I tend not to watch all the biter Reality Shows. (For every one too young or without cable, The Real World and Road Rules came out before Survivor and Big Brother). Some times I get caught watching Discovery or the History Channel. I definitely watch basketball, Football and a few randow sports on ESPN and Fox Sports. But wait! There are two new shows out! THE FAMILY GUY and THE BOONDOCKS!

Books:

All Stephen King, The Easy Rawlins Stories by Walter Mosely, Donald Goines, and Icebeg Slim. And whatever else I pick up in between. I just started getting into the Vampire Chronicles by Ann Rice.

Heroes:

Jesus, My parents, El Hajj Malik-El Shabazz, Martin Luther King Jr., Che Guevera, Hunter Thompson, Charles Dickens, Ernest Hemingmay, anyone who lives without fear of death the life they believe in.
