I have realize my purpose in life to BRIDGE THE GAP OF BOTH WORLDS.
By being a communicator for the deaf people in our community which is needed.I have allot of work to do myself as I only embraced my deaf culture last year so I have allot of studying to do and practicing to do.

My Story
My name is Miriam from South East London, I’m an easy going person .
I'm an up and coming Drummer, been taking my drumming seriously this year, from 2 years drumming lesson at Goldsmith college. I have 7 years experience of playing from about the age of 7 -14. I attended Midi Music Academy where I learned to play drums,bass,guitar,keys and steel pan.
I studied Dance and Arts at Brits performing Art School, and was a member of Dorothy dance school from the age 4-14 years old learning tap,jazz,ballet,modern and street dance. I was also was dancer with Irie Dance (African dancing and drumming).
Dance and Music have always been apart of me - a way of expressing myself and flowing with the creative energy.
I'm back on my creative side growing and creativing,you don't know what you got till it gone! But I've realized that just in time. I will do my best to fulfill my goals and talents to the max.

I was born 4 month early weighing a bag of sugar YES a bag of sugar. 1 pond 5 oz. as a result of this, I suffered hearing loss and a hole in my heart amongst other problems.
My goals Develop myself Help deaf community in London and worldwide Become a successful Musician.

I'm a qualified Exercise to music aerobics instructor. going to start up classes soon. Salsa,African,Street dance Style. For all community.

Currently working on this project,creating a Nu style and Art. where singers/rappers/poets learn sign language for there lyrics or where i sign the piece. Visual Art with Spoken Art Nu Express D_pression.

I'm a member of Brown Rootz enterprise from Brown Rootz band with Lenea Maat heru and Brown Rootz promotions putting on cultural events and creative handmade products like creams, soap and jewellery.
Black Deaf Sistah Group
I'm a member of the group which are still it in early parts of development .. Is to support group for deaf black women and hearing women which deaf children. The group aims is to provide a service to Black deaf women who are isolated, excluded and have low self-esteem. provide workshops Teach Sign Language
