Influences: While there might be a list of bands that would suffice, Kubla Khan is influenced more generally by the broader idea of good music. We all share roots in jazz, classical, pop, metal, hip-hop, and rock that we use to not only influence our song writing, but also inform how we play the music we've written, how we rehearse, and how we build set lists for live shows.
Sounds Like: We're told that we sound like a lot of different bands, to the point where we start believing that maybe we have our own sound. When you're told you sound like The Band in one breath and Wilco in another, you get the sense that you've written music that has struck multiple chords with people.
