Athletically, I love Basketball, and Mountain Biking. Non-athletically, I prefer reading and gaming. Somehow recently the non-athletic side of me has been winning out, and my overall fitness has been losing:( Most of my social life revolves around church and I'm excited to move and meet some new people. Strangely enough, I also love cats. And here's why...

Gordon B. Hinckley, Matt Groening, Conan O'Brien, Evangeline Lilly(HOT!), Orson Scott Card... oh yeah, and that Jared guy from the Subway commercials. I think I'd like to kick him in the groin.
I never really had a musical identity until College. So let's start there. Pearl Jam, Chili Peppers, SoundGarden, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Living Colour, Old Metallica. Those were the ones I actually listened to and liked. After College I entered my album buying phase and expanded my likings a little including, Alphabetically, as I pull from my music folder, Beastie Boys, Beck, Blink, Cake, Coldplay, Collective Soul, Dead Can Dance, Dream Theater, Enya, Filter, Finger Eleven, Foo, Fuel, Jimmy, Linkin Park, Live, Muse, Nickelback, Pound, Queensryche, Rage, 7M3, Silverchair, Pumpkins, STP, The Police, U2, Van Halen, Vertical Horizon, Weezer
The Usual Suspects, LOTR, Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre, Groundhog Day, Field of Dreams, SWINGERS!
There are several shows I never miss. Lost, The Office, The Simpsons, Battlestar Galactica, and until recently, 24. Sorry, but the whole "everything happens in LA" thing got really old. But the older seasons were great. Out of those my fav at the moment is Lost. Without a doubt, the best written and acted show on TV. I'm a guy and I like guy stuff, but when a mere TV show can almost make ME cry, someone is doing something right. Of course The Simpsons is still the standard by which all other humor based TV shows are measured by. Also I have some shows that I've bought the DVD's for like Arrested Development, and I'm just starting to get episodes of MST3K.
Oh man, there are just too many to list here. I've read almost every Star Wars book, and that totals 75 books right there. PLEASE NOTE THAT I DO NOT DRESS AS A STORM TROOPER AND SLEEP OVER NIGHT IN MOVIE LINES AND BOW AT THE FEET OF LUCAS!! I just like the stories. In general I like Fantasy, and some Sci Fi. Authors include Orson Scott Card, Michael Stackpole, David Farland, Tolkien,Terry Brooks, Dennis L. Mckiernan, David Eddings, Robert Jordan (although I wish he'd hurry his trash up), Robin Hobb, Tad Williams, LE Modesitt, Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman. There are many more, since I've read over 500 books since High School, I just can't remember them at the moment.
Jesus Christ and Joseph Smith. Two men who knew exactly what they had to do and eventually sacrificed their lives for it. As my Savior, Christ gets top billing. Joseph Smith was his prophet, and was murdered for his beliefs. In a non-religious vein, I look at the people on flight 93. So I guess laying down your life willingly so that others might live and be happy is my definition of Hero.
