I have started in 1984 with a band called 7 Ballerinas in Queensland doing many supports including Midnight Oil, where I was noticed for my great work and skills as a Sound Engineer.In 1985 I was asked to move to Sydney to work permanently with GANGgajang. I have worked with the band until 1997. During that period I have had the opportunity to work with Australian bands such as The Divinyls, Machanations, The Go-Betweens, The Saints, Peter Blakeley, Wendy Matthews, The Rockmelones as well as one off shows for Foreigner {USA}, Dave Weckel & Simon Philips {TOTO}, from 1996 Skunkhour, Primary.I have completed a two year tour in 1998-99 through out Germany with 9 Australian Bands for Rothmans GmbH/Living Culture GmbH as Live Sound Engineer and Production Manager performing to crowds of up to 30.000 people playing at some of the largest street fairs in Europe.I have mixed live shows to air on Hey Hey is Saturday, Midday Show, Foxtel, Recovery & Countdown and TransAmerica Radio with approx. 3 Million listeners in Sao Paulo Brasil.
My relationships with all major production companies are very strong, and I believe that I am regarded as a high standard Engineer in Australia.I have toured the USA & South America working with the best production companies and have gained experience mixing in large venues environments.I was a co-owner of Velvet Sound Recording Studio in Sydney for 4 years, a 24 Track 2†and 32 channel Pro Tools TDM with full CD burning and mastering facilities until mid 2001 and sold out in 2002.I teamed up with Hamish Adam at Arcadia Solutions a Pro Tools Suite in Bondi in 2002 and re build and upgraded the facility to a professional set up, where I mixed Julia Messengers CD for release in the US, Steve Northeast EP and demos for Country Mega Star James Blundell.In March 2003 I moved to Brisbane and have set up my own Pro Tools Studio starting on a new Subfreq CD, a Revenge Records signing “ Yemanja “,up and coming acts like Bowser, Kwerkshoppe, Scott Sorenzen, Karl Lynch Band and US & UK partners Critchley & Simmons CD releases.In 2004 I have worked mainly on large scale Concert Events with Aneiki, James Blundell, The Super Jesus, US Artist Weird Al Yankovic, Brisbane Rock Elsteddford, Lee Kernaghan, The Angels, Ganggajang and started working for Norwest Productions in Brisbane as Audio Engineer.Full-Time Employed 2005 - 2007 by Impact Production Services in Brisbane Australia as Operations Manager and Senior Chief Engineer. Last major event Lexmark Indy 2006 Head of Audio for track, corporate boxes and podium performances, Brisbane Riverfire 128 speakers 16 zones via Crown IQ’s PIP2 Ethernet controlled via laptop , Chalk & Cheese Festival Brisbane, Large Corporate Events for Wizard’s and many others.
Moved to Germany in August 2007 to spend some time living back in the mother country and looking for some opportunities and seeing my family.
