Formed by Lenny Bignell and Nathan Thomas, a love of vintage Jamaican records informs the sound of The Sidewalk Doctors with a healthy dose of soul thrown in for good measure (Lenny is also guitarist with Lord Large ). Aided and abetted by the cooking rhythm section of Danny Thompson and Mark Thomson (they all met during their time recording and touring with Ska Pop band the Dualers), and a variety of other talented players, The Sidewalk Doctors aim to create a sound that whilst classic is firmly rooted in the 21st century.
All accomplished and talented musicians in their own right, between them they have supported The Skatalites, Toots and the Maytals and Prince Buster and played with artists such as Dean Parrish, Clem Curtis and Linda Lewis amongst others.
