SPEED CHAMBER

About Me

New T-Shirts are available. Order link will be up soon. Or email us now about buying one.
New full band lineup is now complete.
We will be posting recordings with the new lineup soon. Hitting the studio for a while. We'll let everyone know when new stuff is up. But we will still be playing some shows through this time period.
SPEED CHAMBER was formed around the beginning of 2005 by Jay Prussack (guitarist of SLACK) and Dave Incognito (formerly of LOKANE) . Both were friends who just decided to do something different than their other projects. They basically took their influences from many different genres of music to begin formulating the sound of SPEED CHAMBER. As a band we will continue to expand the boundaries of these influences. We have no fear of being different or unconventional as long as the songs are heavy and can have some good hooks or bits of groove to them.
During the summer of 2005 we brought in Dave 'Bleach' Curral on Bass,
Eddy Collado on Drums and Jon Danzo to do Samples for the newer stuff. At the end of 2006 Jon left the band for personal reasons. In June 2007 both Bleach and Eddy left, also for personal reasons. We wish all these guys well and thank them for all their time and dedication they put into this band. We had great times. We remain friends and that's all that matters.
With some luck, the same week we found ourselves a new Drummer with Wil Webster (formerly of SEVERANCE) .
We have now added Nick Dowe (Formerly of SEVERANCE) as second guitarist and on Bass we have James Caprio as of September 2007.
We have finally settled on a complete new lineup now and are getting ready to crush with new material and a bit of a different sound. But be assured, the new SPEED CHAMBER is coming back with a vengeance, new blood and a different attitude.
About the 3 songs currently on this page. "Among Haunted Skies" and "Six Blind Eyes" are rough demos of some newer material we are currently working on. "Big Balls" is a cover song we recorded for ECW wrestler Balls Mahoney to use as his entrance song (Unfortunately it never got used because of legal holdups).
The band will be playing more live shows, so keep checking for any new show dates you can make it out to.
