Hello, I created this site to inform women and men of sexual assault. I am a sexual assault survivor and I want to spread the word to as many people as I can on how to prevent sexual assault and I also want to inform current victims of sexaul assault on how and where to get help.

MY STORY: My name will remain unknown. I was friends with a guy for about a year and he drugged and raped me. I never thought anything like this could happen to me. And then one day, my whole world changed.
WHY I CREATED THIS WEBSITE: As stated above, I really want to spread the word of sexual assault. If I can reach out to just one person, I'll feel like I've done some good. I'm trying to take this bad thing that happened to me and spin it into a positive thing. I want to inform you and all of your friends of just how easily it could happen to you. If I were reading this a year ago, I would think "it can't happen to me. I'm too cautious. I don't do stupid things or put myself in bad positions", but here I am. It happened to me and it could happen to YOU.
FACTS
-Every 2- 2.5 minutes someone in America is sexually assaulted.
-One in 6 American Women and one in 33 American Men are victims of Sexual Assault.
-College-Aged Women are 4 times more likely to be the victim of Sexual Assault.
-Sexual Assault is one of the most underreported crimes. More than half of the assaults go unreported.
-The FBI ranks rape as the most violent crime after murder.
-Approximately 73% of rape victims know their assailants.
-ONLY 6% of rapists will ever spend a day in jail.
