Since the fall of 2005, Mind of Ein (phonetically pronounced eye-n, like "Albert EINstein" ) has been one of the premiere New England based bands. Winners of the first ever Jam Solid Entertainment Battle of the Bands in 2006, Mind of Ein has evolved into one of Rhode Island's most beloved progressive rock acts around. Nominated by the Providence Phoenix's Best Music Poll two years in a row (Song of the Year, 2007 and Best Loud Act, 2008), as well as numerous other achievements, Mind of Ein has not suffered from a lack of acknowledgement. As of the summer of 2008, Mind of Ein is featured, for the second time, as a part of White Noise Record's "The Scene" compilation to help nationalize their music.
