Kinda shy....Naaahhh..., not really... Just not sure where to start. I'll take this opportunity to expand on "StLouisSheila's Details". I'm here for friends; single, never married, the proud parent of one son that has grown into a fine young man (if I dare say so myself). I originally got started on my space to track my favorite bands and musicians concert and tour dates. Also to expose myself to new music and new people. I don't choose friends lightly, I have a small number of life long friends, (they don't do my space). I find that the quality of a friend is much more important than the quantity of friends.I like all kinds of animals. Their behavior is many times easier to understand than that of many people. Through out my life I have had a variety of pets; reptiles, birds, fish, and various 4 legged types, large and small.I like the outdoors, just not the cold, snow or ice. I like most things having to do with water. I love a nice long float trip, and camping. I like riding motorcycles, ATVs, and horses. I like thunderstorms with lots of lightening. You know, Mother Nature's light show.I was raised to be independent, I'm mechanically inclined, and if I have a man in my life it is because I want him there, not because I need him there. I feel to be "wanted" in a relationship is much more important than to be "needed" in a relationship. I think many people make the mistake of thinking they "need" someone in their relationships.On the issue of religion, I dont believe in "organized" religion (although it may be very good for others and that is perfectly ok), I believe in one God and there is only one God for all. I tend to believe more in Karma and good morals.
