With only 5 years behind the decks...Dj Luis Amani has been able to master mixing all types of music smoothly and able to keep the dance floor alive with his unique styles of blending. He Started his days as a dj spinning at various hispanic college house parties in 2002 for very little or no money at all. Playing mostly HipHop, he learned the skill to be able to blend at various bpm's, although DANCE music was always his passion and what he preferred to play to a crowd. Frustrated and still unsure of where his music was going to take him...in 2004 the sounds of CROBAR Chicago re-introduced him to HOUSE Music. Amazed by the heavy basslines and energetic vocals ... the reaction of the crowd to the music is what hit him the most. Luis Amani had finally found a music style he can enjoy to play and at the same time a style anyone can and will dance and jam too. He is now rapidly growing popularity in the Chicago nightlife scene and has had various residencies including Privilege Ultra Lounge, Alumni Club, Ontourage, Krem, Bamboo Schaumburg, and guest spots at Reserve, Ruby, Vision, RednoFive, Climax Lounge, Club Rain in Milwaukee, Republic, Champagne Lounge and the featured DJ @ Dolce Ultra Lounge & Maroc Bar/Club Rio in San Antonio TX. Luis Amani can now seen Rockin the Decks @ Moda every Saturday night with Brett Ross, and Surreal Djs Nocturnal B and Victor R, as well as every Friday @ The Filthy Libertine w/ Tommy Z Productions. As a Producer , he is already gaining recognition and respect with just only a few unsigned remixes out, but has huge plans in the days to come and expects to take it the the next level as a musician in the house/electro music scene. He Has also had the honor to share venues and open for house acts like JJ Flores, Louie Devito, Charles Feelgood, and Dave Aude through the promo "2nd City Entertainment", based in San Antonio, TX. This is just the beginning for Luis Amani who can be seen in and around Chicago spinning his hard & uplifting electro and tech house music he is known to play.
