. Born on september 4th 1982. as Dragan Milenkovic in the city of Novi Sad (Serbia). As soon as i got my first computer i became interested in electronic music. in 1996. inspired by music of, than breaking through band, the Prodigy i started making forms of techno, house, psy trance etc. At the age of 15 i started playing house in Novi Sad Clubs. That didn't last for long because all the house music started to sound the same. Then came the big wave of foreign influences and music genres with te first exit festival. That's the first time i heard drum n bass live and in all it's glory. After a couple of years of listening to drum n bass only on the exit i realised that i wanted to hear it more often than once a year. So i started collecting, producing & mixing it. 2005. i make my first appearance as DJ MONDEN non the less but on the exit fest (in cooperation with techno DJs from Belgrade, i must add, not with my city collegues from Novi Sad, no way with all that smugness). I took my brother Dusan Milenkovic (MC FATBOYDUCK changed to DEADBOY) and my friend Marko Djurovic (MC MARE changed to DJ BLOWPRSH) with me as MCs. So the three of us made a first unrehersed appearance and put up quite a show. Many people heard about "that party some guys did" on exit 05 as they later found out it was us. the end of 2005. & the begining of 2006. was the year of the three of us constantly partying at each others houses trying to find our own sound and so we did. Than that sound needed a name, and ILLEGAL OPERATIONS was born in the basement of Novi Sad's student cultural center (IZBA). We had our first unofficial appearance greased up with two malfunctioning players that jumped every time the bass drum kicked a bit harder, or when ever i jumped driven by the music while playing, but the fearless MCs spontaniosly started freestyling about jumping players and saved the first gig from disaster. This little incident was not to be forgotten so we named our first serial of parties the "JUMPING PLAYERS"! The parties went through the roof and we were ambicious so they lasted up till 9am. 9 hours of drum n bass... We also started doing some hip-hop and along came the fourth member of the band Gojko Cetnik (MC CHE), and Illegal Operations finaly formed a master circle. In 2006. we started promoting drum & bass sound in Novi Sad in cooperation with the biggest Serbian Hip-Hop bands BAD COPY & BEOGRADSKI SINDIKAT. Also we did numerous colaborations with drum n bass DJs, hip-hop DJs, MCs, Bands etc. Marko Djurovic (BLOWPRSH) crafted his own DJ tehnique and started spinnin'. This phenomenon was later known as ILL SESSIONS (When Monden & Blowprsh crossed mixes). Dusan Milenkovic (DEADBOY) remained the main ILLOPPS mc and became our Hip-Hop DJ (still working on drum n bass mix). 2006-2007. period, besides the parties, i spent in my room producing well known songs in Novi Sad (Cortex Damage (17'' frame attack), Evolved, Element, intruder 3000, Drum n trip, Mutant, Mutant VIP, Robotic Dance, Trick Spin, Underground Dogs, The Grinja, 9th Gate, Choke This, Methylparaben, Hyperstarter, Power Grid, Smart Bomb, Robert Pacino... Of course, i did my part of the re-mixing business bringing the Novi Sad public the Monden/Illegal Operations/Evil/17''frame attack types of remixes of Firestarter(The Prodigy), Feeling Good (Nina Simone), Natural High (Miss Dynamite), Requiem For A Dream (Clint Mansell), Brood X (Corrupt Souls & Hyx), Bulls On Parede/concussion/monden (RATM & Noisia), I Get Around (The Beach Boys)... The remix of the "REQUIEM FOR A DREAM" turned Novi Sad upside down. All the house,techno, psy,breaks,hip-hop,reggae (and other) lovers thrown massive respect on my work, and all the Drum n Bass Haters became drum n bass listeners and started respecting ILLEGAL CREW. The remix of BULLS ON PARADE is in fact Concussion from Noisia edited, and little changed to follow Zac's screaming, spcied up with my finish line. That remix sounded like hell broke loose on a party and it always had to be played first just to be sure that every but on the party was moved. So it was! Beside all those songs I also produced in some other genres as well. It goes like this: Jakuza (pulp Bitch), Brain Runner, AK-47, Back Fire... (Monden in a PSY trance trip), Condor, My Little Junky Bitch (2 versions), Millions $$$, Break Loose, Wadafuck, The Reptile etc (my version of Breakbeat, Techno & House). Stizemo, Ancients, Credits, Fed Up, The End, Rabbit's Joint, Rockmaster, Temper... (Are my forms of funky,dark,trip,hard Hip-MTF-Hop).2008. is the year of ILLEGAL OPERATIONS, MONDEN, DEADBOY, BLOWPRSH & CHE taking over the city of Novi Sad! We did our 2nd BIRTHDAY PARTY, performed in front of thousands of people, got layed, drunk, stoned, Respected, Hated, wise, we even got that nice production-neon-tan... NOW WE'RE GEOING INTERNATIONAL! SO PREPARE YOUR SELF! P.S. Let me not forget the alltime-novi sad-party champion... the Infamous 'DE SI PRIKA single! P.P.S.
