Akwaaba is music from Africa, old and new, traditional and modern, with a weak spot for rumbling dancefloor sounds... music in Africa is often very different from music int he African / world music section of your favorite record store, yet a lot of the music that doesn'tleave Africa ROCKS. So we go there, meet with musicians, and offer to do whatever we can to promote and sell their music outside of Africa.
