I was born and raised in a small town in upstate NY. I moved to Pittsburgh after graduating from college and have been here ever since. Thrift stores are my mecca. Where else can you go with a $20 bill and leave with a pile of fabulous treasure? I love people who make crafts, especially people who design and fabricate their own clothes, accessories, and/or jewelry. I like to support diy-ers and will sometimes spend more than I should because the money is going directly to the person who created the item.
