About Me

8 yrs a in the mix!! Began in early 2000 with U.K Hardcore, then Hard House and Dance. I Have scratching well and truly sussed out,as my strongest point in music is probably my scratching ability... i have my own style of scratching and original tricks that a dmc champ would be proud of...i began learning music production in 2005 using Sony Acid 5.0 - as it is reletively easy for learning... then i swapped over to Cubase a short while before i began studying music technology in September 2007...Currently i am still studying for a qualification whilst aslo working on my tracks - trying to find a balance where i am learning and improving as well as find time for mixing vinyl on the tables...

Music:

Influences: From Day 1 when i first took an interest - sy and storm, and then all the proppa stompin oldskool hardcore. I was only about 10 so i didnt av a clue. 'i want to be a hippy' was my fave tune - (the stompin mix) Hahaa.when i got into d.jing i learnd to mix with oldskool hardcore thanks to Matt Duncan!! Influenced me a lot wiv good skills' got me 1st wheels/soundlabs off him 4 80 buff!! - they were the days!! wen i got into mixin hardcore was goin threw a bit of a bad patch and i seemed to like a lot of the other dance/trance that was around for some reason?? As soon as id heard about Lisa Lashes, a few Hard House Euphorias and that, and a wicked tape/copy of her at Slammin Vinyl that i cained evrywere i went, i was well hooked on it and i still am mad about hard house/dance to this day. The two main ppl would have to be RR Fierce and Tony Di Vit whos work has influenced me most although there's many others - Lisa Pin Up, Rachel Auburn, Glazby, Dynamic Intervention, John Doe, - and so on... Over to the Hardcore side of things. Basically i as i was so into my Hard House/Dance i didnt have time for much else. But as Hardcore made a big comeback i took note. erm started buying the vinyl in about 2004 got a load of Gammer and Scott Brown stuff. Loads of other stuff too-basically id allready gone over to Hardcore when i went to my first (big) rave-'Hardcore Heaven in Liverpool 2006' - since then its been mostly Hardcore. MAIN INFLUENCES - Brisk/Ham ,Seduction,Gammer,Sy,Storm,ScottBown,Lethal Theory,Crag Smith. Mental,Whizzkid,Keeyes & Extreme,Smileyl,Rizzla Dizzla,Styles/Breeze
Sounds Like: U.k Hardcore with Hard House elements, underground stuff with fat bass and evil hoovers. And the odd oldskool sounding track now and again...
