About Me
Comedian David Faragalli is smart, high-energy, relatable, and bald. Even at its most abstract, his comedy is rooted in real-life experiences and feelings that everyone can identify with. Rarely cruel or angry, David’s goal is to have a good time and make sure the audience has one, too!
A California native, David’s interest in comedy began from an early age, when he used to listen to his father’s comedy records while growing up in Tustin. Records like Bill Cosby, Allan Sherman, Bob Newhart, and Richard Pryor. After annoying the crap out of his friends by lip-synching to Allen Sherman records and reciting Bill Cosby routines in class, David finally found an acceptable outlet when he got involved in the theater in 8th grade. David found that he was a natural performer with a love of the stage, and continued to do so after moving to Huntington Beach at age 15.
After high school, David gave up theater and studied Music Theory at Orange Coast College. But, comedy remained a quiet dream in his life, until his wife (perhaps tired of him trying bits out on her) suggested he take it to the stage. David began performing and studying with Bobbie Oliver’s Stand-Up Academy, where he developed his act and honed his ability to communicate intelligent ideas to the common man. He began writing material and playing at clubs around L.A. David’s modern influences include Lewis Black, Dennis Leary, and Eddie Izzard. He performs at The Ice House, The Comedy Store, M Bar, Comedy Union, The Joke Gym and clubs all over the Los Angeles area. He has relocated to Seattle, where he will continue to make people laugh.
A creative individual with diverse talents including comedy, writing, music, web design & development, and photography, David Faragalli is capable of almost anything!
