Besides getting attention as a songwriter & performer, Mary also garners respect as an Music Industry Professional. , Mary held the Vice-President Post with Midwest Woman In Music (an outreach committee of the Chicago NARAS chapter), is a free-lance journalist and has written feature stories for many papers (STREETROCK, Midwest Women In Music, Impact, & others), Managed a Record Store (Record Town, TransWorld Record Corp), and Co-Owned a Music Management Company called Track Management ( Managing four bands including local indie group Pyclone with famed drummer Mike Wyngren of Distrurbed).
