I sincerely apologize but due to time constraints and becoming very busy my Paranormal Spotlight will not be weekly anymore. I will still post articles when I get the time but I do not have time for one every week. Hopefully they will be bi-weekly. Fear not however, my goal is still the same. Check out my official website at DanielsDoorstep.com . It will be fully functional soon and you can see what all I've been up to. Thanks for understanding and for visiting this page. Peace to all.
Before I get on to what my story is about let me first tell you about this site. Here you can not only find out about my ghost story and other creative talents on the left side of the page but you can also find out all kinds of aspects relating to the afterlife. Check out my PARANORMAL SPOTLIGHT on the bottom of the page to find out about real paranormal investigators or anyone related to the paranormal in some way.
Under the MUSIC section to the left you can find the MUSIC SPOTLIGHT which is where I featured musician(s) who carries the spook vibe in one way or the other, at least in my opinion.
Under the BOOKS section to the left you can find an Author Spotlight where I give you information about an author, fiction or non-fiction who relates to the paranormal in some way.
Along the left you can also find books, music, tv shows, movies, etc and check something cool and new out.
This page is going to BURST with all things spook related that I can fit into it. So grow with me and join this spook posse today. If you have time please take a look at my friends on my friend list. There are many paranormal investigators around the world on it.
By popular demand corny jokes. Some I made up, some I've found searching the web. Check out the blog at the top of the page titled: HORRIFYING JOKES or click here . Enjoy!
NOW AT LONG LAST, ON TO THE STORY...
Conductor O'Shay is a fantastic read, with characters anyone could quickly become enthralled with. This is a perfect example of something that packs small but plays big. Well done Daniel, looking forward to more from you!" - Joe Riggs, Mental Magician/Paranormal Photographer.

"I've read your short story Conductor O' Shay and have to say I was compelled to read, and read. It kept my interest. It was full of detail and action. I liked it very, very, much. The characters were people who I could relate to. Just the whole story of the ghosts together afraid of one bad spirit and how good versus evil and how good prevailed was great. I would definitely buy and read other books and short stories you write. Loved it. Keep up the great work." -Deborah Ward /Founder of W.I.P.A. Women Investigating Paranormal Activity

"Conductor O' Shay is a witty romp through a paranormal adventure. With quick wit and humorous insight Daniel Morrison pens a wonderful story well worth your time to read it. I highly recommend picking up a copy."

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Cemetary

Welcome to the famous Paranormal investigators, The McAllister Twins . Their team uses their unique gifts to focus on the violent hauntings that are not normally known to the public in order to send all entities involved to a final resting place.
The reason to film these is not for monetary gain but to raise the spiritual awareness of the public so that if they encounter a violent spirit they might be able to send the spirits to a final resting place as well.
What makes them so unique? Glad you asked.
Jodi McAllister can communicate with the deceased. She uses her talents to focus specifically on those who have not made it entirely into the afterlife.
Micah McAllister can move objects with his mind. His telekinetic abilities are responsible for protecting the team from physical attacks from the more violent entities that the team encounters regularly.
Adelia Eikholtz is a Wiccan who uses her spells and magik to help protect the team from the darker entities they encounter on a regular basis.
Eric Koltz is the cousin to the McAllister twins. He is currently inventing new technology to aid in the capture of evidence that ghosts and spirits exist. The team doesn't know it but he uses suggestions from his own personal ghost.
Ron and Paul are the two camera guys. Ron builds a loose script for the show to follow to make sense to the audience. Paul has good director skills. Ironically, the pair are scared to death of the paranormal.
Feel free to wander around the site to find the newest adventures of the McAllister team or peek into the biographies of each member.
All of these can be found under the Blogs section at the top of the page. Click on your heart's desire.
While you're here check out the links to real paranormal investigators and find out what "real life" paranormal investigators go through and what mysterious things they encounter.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

PARANORMAL SPOTLIGHT
Here you can find real paranormal teams around the country and find out what the life of real ghost hunters is like. Each week I display a new Paranormal Spotlight guest. You can see all previous Spotlights in the blogs at the top of the page. So go ahead and take a peek. I double dog dare ya.

I am focusing my PARANORMAL SPOTLIGHT this week on the paranormal investigation group, Commonwealth Paranormal . I got to meet them at this year’s Comparacom 2009 paranormal conference. It was a blast. After a 3 hour drive I made it to Blue Lick Battlefield park in Carlisle, KY and met the founder, Joe Clark in person. He had an excellent line up of awesome guests and topped the day off with a very entertaining ghost hunt. While I haven’t finished my final copy of the article detailing my day at the convention I want to give Commonwealth Paranormal some major props. Before I do here is a little about the team.

Commonwealth Paranormal is comprised of experienced and dedicated paranormal investigators who use various types of equipment and scientific methods to document paranormal activity anywhere they can get to that has paranormal activity. This sounds a lot like all other groups so far but it’s good to see that they are in a professional league, which they are. They also do not charge clients for services. Absolutely everything about the investigation is kept strictly confidential unless they are given permission to make it public. So what makes them stand apart from others?

I only know my firsthand experience of their qualities as passionate people about their craft and compassion for the well being of others. Don’t take my word for it, others have wonderful things to say about them as well. You can see positive reviews on their sites at Commonwealth Paranormal or their myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/commonwealthparanormal from such greats as Tina Webb, the Director from Coal Miner’s Museum, Stan Howard from the paranormal group P.A.S.T. and the group Southern Ohio Paranormal investigations, just to name a few.

Joe and his team at Commonwealth Paranormal are some of the most passionate professionals I've had a chance to hang out with. They put on a spectacular, fun, informative event with the Comparacom and they had one of the most entertaining ghost hunts I've been on. I recommend them highly if you have a spook of your own that needs investigated. When you go to check out their sites let them know that Daniel sent ya!

Are you a Paranormal Investigator really? Or do you relate to the Paranormal field in some other way? Any way plausible no matter how out of the ordinary it might seem? You could be my next guest then. Each week (or longer, depending on time constraints for my brain, eyes, and fingers) I post a new Paranormal Spotlight guest and give them the Daniel C. Morrison treatment as you have seen above. If you want in you have to buy a book and show a receipt. HA HA HA, just kidding. All you have to do is send an email to me at [email protected]with the subject line: "I AM INTERESTED IN BEING SPOTLIGHTED ON YOUR MCALLISTER PAGE." I'll shoot an email your way in response and the fun will begin. So what are you waiting for? Get into the ectoplasmic limelight right away. I look forward to our friendship!

p.s. please buy a book :)

I would like to take a moment to express my sincerest wishes and prayers for those out there who are killed because of their choice to be different. A soul should be judged, not a shell. This is in regards to a friend of mine, Mistress Avalon. She is a proud supporter of The Gothic Liberation Front. She has been part of the Goth scene for 23 years. Her skills include being a healer, an empath, a hairdresser & a devoted Goth who seeks the truth on her spiritual journey. The idea of her myspace page, Gothic Liberation Front/Ashe was originally due to a few murders of a Goth girl called Sophie Lancaster who was stomped to death in England for just being a Goth & a young Punk guy in the state was also murdered for just being a Punk. Goths get threatened & hassled & bullied & abused all the time because of their lifestyles. Her site is to educate people on who they are and what they are into. They want to band a community together like a support system group.
The Goth scene doesn't do too well as it is. It seems that due to so many of life's difficulties people find it easier to sell out, according to Mistress Avalon. "You have to be a strong person & it must mean a lot to you to continue living a Gothic lifestyle devoutly. At the end of the day it is about the music, having darker tastes, owning your own way of fashion, staying a unique individual throughout societies bad opinions through ignorance."

I would just like to say to everyone to please, before your initial judgement goes down, search the soul. Try spending a moment looking into someone's eyes or greet them and decipher what's in their voice before assuming what kind of person they are. Would you judge the same if you were blind?
Thanks for the time. My heart and prayers go out to all the misjudged.

Sincerely,
Daniel C. Morrison
