The Presiding Prelate of New Life Holy Ghost Deliverance Ministries Inc. At the age of twenty-one, Bishop Sheena Gooden gave her life to Christ. A metamorphosis took place at the very moment that she confessed salvation, and she has been running for Jesus and has never looked back. She leaves a trail of blazing fire behind her burning up everything that would exalt itself above the name of Jesus. When it comes to her family, she applies the scripture as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Her oldest, the young minister, as she likes to be called, Tamekia Jones, is not only a Evangelist, but a musician, psalmist, a recent 2008 graduate from Barry University, and a Sunday School teacher. Her oldest son, Deacon Christopher Jones is a diligent worker in the sanctuary and consistently ministers to the Pastors needs, a wonderful father and son. Her youngest son, Travis Jones, Minister of Music Extraordinaire is a young man with a fruitful ministry. He is the President and director of the Voices of New Life. He has taken on a special role in reaching the youth in prayer band service and is stepping into an even higher calling. Truly, the woman of God has trained up her children in the way that they should go. Bishop Gooden has actively and effectively participated in the choir, Pastor’s personal secretary, calendar secretary, and president of the women's department, Pastor’s aid vice president, witness team vice president, praise & worship leader, and President of the youth department. Ministering to her Pastor's has been like second skin, without question their every need has been met. She'd rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than to be dwell in the tent of wickedness. This virtuous woman of God accepted God's calling to preach the Gospel to the sin sick souls. God has anointed Pastor Gooden with the patience of Job, the wisdom of Solomon and the zeal of Ruth to contend with the youth of today. Holiness and righteousness pulsates in perfect harmony with every beat of her heart.
