I want to breathe poetry
flowing free like a cold breeze
growing like an oak tree
i want a warm eyes that bring people down to both knees
that surmise situations and see through lies
and shoot hugs from across the room
coupled with a pair of lips you might kiss soon
big like a full pillow ready to lay on
smooth on your fingers like a naked crayon
constantly upturned at the corners swarming with warmth
inverted for your viewing pleasure
i want to dance light as a feather
and sing standing up as loud as i can so G-d can hear me
a voice that would make gemorrah fear
i want flawless ears that prick at whispers and rhymes
i want a mind like a steel trap sprung ready to snap
on some poor unsuspecting idea's frail tail
ensnaring it at it's own game
i want to know myself like socrates' philosophy
and right now, i want you on top of me
i want your pelvis swivelling like elvis
kissing mine to the rhythm and time
i want your sweat on my tongue and our eyes to melt into one
i want to fill you with everything inside my heart
the blood, the fire, and everything that started it
but most of all i want you to breathe heavy and unsteadily
readily taking the rest of me and leaving just the best of me.
