JA.G..THE JAMAICAN GANSTA_formaly known as D.R.A.G is an entertainer with a load of talent that will change the music you call hardcore dancehall forever. Born in Spanish Town ST.Catherine,grew up in the community of Tivoli Garden, west kingston. were it all started at the Denham Town primary school where he and his friends began to knock on the school desk and having lyrical clashes.
His father Trevor "BIGGA"McDaniel a lover of reggea music use to play his records and JA.G would jus hold a vibe,by the time he was a teenager he was on the endz with frenz dominating. He got recognition by performing on community events,bar-b-ques,concerts,christmas treats anywhere to show off his skill.In 1991 his family moved to the Hellshire Park Community in St. Catherine where he link with the Marawdaz [Cosa Nostra & St. Matthew] and went to his first studio[The Record Factory]and voice his first dub plate for the Star Dust Sound System.Over the years JA.G has performed at several events and places such as Sting 05[jam world portmore],Spring Break 03,05,o6[nigril] Asylum Night Club [new kingston], Links Pon Di Beach[hellshire,portmore],Ramble in St.Thomas,West Kingston Jambaree,East Fest06[St.Thomas],Manchester Fiesta 07[manchester],Passa Passa in Antigua,Fun Fest Bahamas jus to name a few.
JA.G[JAMAICAN GANSTA] HAS BEEN TO QUITE A FEW PLACES AND GETTING GOOD RESPONSES FROM THE AUDIENCE..
JA.G[jamaican gansta]has recorded several song for producers including 'HAVE WATT IT TAKE'' [produced by Blacks "[E55 Entertainment]",also on the roster of songs are 'GIMMI A CHANCE' produced by Studio face '[Thug Mansion Production]', "CIARA','NUH CHORUS' produced by the platnium producer Dale "Dr. Dizzle"Virgo for"dizzle lab production.He as also done videos for "HAVE WATT IT TAKE" e55 entertainment production,"GIMMI A CHANCE",thug mansion production,which got rotation on all major cable station.
In April 2006 JA.G[jamaican gansta]moved to the Maxfield Avenue and formed his own KILIKI PRODUCTION and has done an advertising deal with the SUPREME VENTURES LIMITED.
JA.G[jamaica gansta] influences are legends like Peter Tosh,Bob Marley,Tu Pac,Bounty Killa,Buju Banton,Ninja Man,Shabba Ranx,Papa Michigan & General Smiley,Brigadier Jerry,Dollar Fifty to name a few.He's a talented young man who can write songs,good at delivering them.JA.G[jamaican gansta] is poised to take his music to the world...
