Mac_A, (Ali Mac) is a Club Percussionist, based in Leeds, U.K.
Shimmer, Expression & the Energy of Brazil, Cuba, Africa & Ibiza ... Expect everything from smooth sophisticated beats in cocktail lounges to hard hitting Latin grooves in nightclubs, accompanying resident DJ's who provide a full spectrum of styles from the depths of House & Electro to the highest peaks of the coolest Bar grooves on Earth.
Live on stage, Mac_A works hard to keep crowds dancing into the early hours with the interlocked and relentless support from the DJ's Souring, Soulful & Earth-pounding grooves and beats.
Highlights include sharing the stage with DJ's Paul Kershaw, Nick Rafferty, Paul Murray, John Crayford, Darren Bouthier & James Bailey, to name a few.
He also performs with various soul, latin & live electro projects and is asked to record in-session regularly; recording styles of music as varied as House, Soul, Nu-Jazz & Latin.
