i have been making my own music for most of my life. my father, who was an amazing guitarist, gave me a small electronic keyboard when i was seven years old (that was 1983). he managed to convey to me that it was a thing to have fun with. as a result, i never stopped. i have never had formal lessons, and am happy to play by ear. i collect instruments of all sorts, from banjos to drum-machines, but am mostly a keyboardist. i will also say that i write my own percussion, and enjoy beats as much as notes. i love to collaborate just as much as i love to sit in a dark room and make my own dorky stuff. so yeah.....
