I like the little things...the smell of rain when it first hits the pavement, a snow day, a shy smile from a little kid, thunder, lightning, the sound of fresh snow under your feet, bundling up, old stories from new friends, new stories from old friends, sleeping with my window open, a new pair of socks, fresh sheets, an afternoon nap on the couch, the crackle of the fire, a good meal, jackets, funky shoes, the sunset, the crack of the bat, the pop of the glove, the smell of the grass, a cabin in the winter, unfamiliar cultures, taking pictures, the sound of rain on your tent, a good conversation, sand between your toes, howling wind, dressing up, hooded sweatshirts, a smile and a welcoming glance.
