That’s basically how this all came to be. The short one was born in North Memphis (Goodwill Village, Hollywood Projects etc.). The tall one was born in North Dallas . These two wippa- snappas met in 2001 after the short one moved to Dallas. After finding out that they both lived in the same apartments a bond was formed between them and one other yella fuck. Ya’ll know him!
The short one was always writing in some way or fashion since he was 10 yrs. old It was mostly mediocre to wack though!! You know the typical 10 year old shit. The type of shit you look back on now and laugh or be embarrassed to say in front of people. Like dumb ass poems and stupid ass 7 bar raps you wrote in class where you threw in niggas names that you probably aint talked to in like FOREVER and to this day wouldn’t even wanna talk to em’. The tall one never wrote nuttin. He really didn’t know shit bout music, well, other than Nelly and the St. Lunatics. El oh el!!!!! My bad, just had to put it out there. But whatevea….
Fast forward about a good 4 years. They used to always be making fun of the whole “I done came down and I done came threw†era of rap. The shit was FUNNY. But every other time when they was makin fun of it, something that actually sounded decent came out. The short one knew he could write if he put his mind to it and being cool with the tall one it would only make sense that he write too cause he was actually sayin some good shit too. Plus you know everybody and they mama think they can rap, so they knew a million and one mufuckas who called they selves “rappers†. At first they just wrote here and there in spare time when they wasn’t getting on these Freak-baskets. El oh el!!! They done came a long ass way. First startin wit rappin bout shit that’s completely irrelevant to they life. Like havin “guns big enough to blow a hole in the o-zone HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA……. Don’t get it twisted tho. They both done did dirt and still do, but what’s the point of glorifyin it???? At least if you gone do it make that shit sound EXXXTRAA great. Which they do. And since then the creativity and lyricism has evolved and aint been fucked wit yet. And that’s real not just sayin that shit just cause ima fan. They show that Dallas don’t just have one- dimensional niggas talking bout the same shit. They really actually “Got goâ€, no pun intended. So expect they future to look good for now. And expect them niggas to be handin out a lot of mixtapes within the next couple months. They praying to get picked up by somebody legitimate. FUCK city fame.
