Jwee, an 80's baby was Born and raised in the notorious Compton, California. Jwee A.K.A. Killa Wee was raised in the ghetto, the heart of Compton. With one brief stay in Los Angeles, Ca. Although he survived the trappings and pressures of gangs and violence, something that was all to common in his neighborhood, the streets influenced him greatly in the music game. He used those pressures as a driving force to start rapping. At a young age a group was formed called The H.O.T.T.A Squad, which stands for “Hated on Time & Time Again.†The members were Jwee, Reginald L. Burson, Jr; A.K.A., Iggie B. And, G-Mack. While rapping was an means to survive in the streets, he also ran track and earned a Track Scholarship from U.S.C. He was on the road headed for success when the passing of his mother put his education from U.S.C. on hold, however it made his love for music even more powerful. He focused more on his craft, and became more determined to succeed and become a member of the game. Jwee was inspired by so many different Rap Legends like Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Tupac, Ice Cube, Biggie Smalls and The Game to name a few. He was also influenced by the games toughest MC’s Jadakiss, Slim Shady, LilWayne., and Naz. The Group was having much success and were moving up like George and Weezy, when they were hit with a tragic blow on Jan 21, 2007. One of their members Iggie B. Was murdered at the young age of 21, leaving behind his daughter Lil honie. His passing affected the group, and put the music on hold for a very short time period. Ultimately, in the end it brought Jwee and G-Mack back harder and more motivated and determined to strive at being the best in the game and the hottest upcoming artist. Jwee has since had a Lil one of his own and is determined to show her that you can make your dreams come true if you work hard at reaching your goals. Killa Wee and G- Mack continue to move forward in the game with the hard work and help from longtime childhood friend Travis A.K.A. Cali Trav and his label Burris Av Ent. and the constant mentoring by friend to the label Big 2 Da Boy also a West Coast Compton artist,. After meeting Pimp C at the house of blues one night before his passing the brief conversation they shared will stay with Jwee forever. Pimp C .R.I.P...said it best when he once said “What you put into the game is what you get out of the game.â€
