The Wednesday Night Foxhole is no longer in operation. It took place the 1st and 3rd (and occasionally 5th, when necessary) Wednesday of each month.It was an intimate lil’ standup comedy night produced by comedy vet Bill Devlin and hosted by Ellen Fox.Here’s where you could see grizzled headliners and slick touring acts join forces with wide-eyed novices in an effort to eke guffaws from jet-lagged Scandinavians, mustached Midwestern bizness travellers, illicit lovers on a budget, skinny-pants-wearing Silver Lakers and anyone else who might have wandered into the basement bar of the Hollywood Ramada at 9pm on a Wednesday.Liquid refreshment was served up by Mallory the Bartender.And the show was FREE!
