About Me

I consider myself Canadian, but also partially American as well. I left Canada at age 12 to live in Hong Kong for almost 3 years. I then moved to Virginia, went to University in Pennsylvania, and returned to Canada at age 24. I work with people that have cognitive impairments (mostly Alzheimer's Disease) and I LOVE it. Although I thought only spinsters have them (being a dog person myself) I do have a cat named Buddha. But he can be a mean son-of-a-bitch, is moody, and often think's he's a dog, so he doesn't count. At least that's my rationalization. I don't really like "pretty boys" I would prefer someone that's interesting looking. Bad spelling bugs me. What else. I tend to prefer instant gratification . I LOVE to laugh; usually at myself. Jim Carrey (I think I'm misspelling that) kills me especially in Pet Detective 2. I'm often bored, love to take random road-trips, and am happiest laying around the cottage. I guess that's it. Any questions, feel free to ask. The following is my definition of a great friendship!1. When you are sad - I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.2. When you are blue - I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.3. When you smile - I will know you finally got laid.4. When you are scared - I will rag on you about it every chance I get.5. When you are worried - I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and to quit whining.6. When you are confused - I will use little words.7. When you are sick - Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.8. When you fall - I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.Remember...a good friend will help you move...a really good friend will help you move a body.Let me know if I ever need to bring a shovel......

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People with good character, and maturity. Definately those with maturity.

Movies:

Movies that make me cry: the usual chick-flicks: Steel Magnolias, The Notebook (very poignant especially in my line of work, but also very unrealistic),Movies that make me laugh: Half-baked (I'm proud to say I can recite a good portion of it!....Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you....you're cool. Gotta love it! Yo' B they killed Killer B! so funny! must stop myself.); Pet Detective 2 (especially when he's in the rhino with the mini-fan)

Television:

Lost (although I'm currently frustrated with it), Gilmore Girls, Simpsons, Family Guy, Grey's Anatomy. And I'm a closet fan of Coronation Street. I know. I know!

Books:

I devour anything. I'm not picky at all.

Heroes:

Is it stupid to say my mom?
